It’s time to run, bike and enjoy awesome trails at the Holla Trails Classic hosted by Holla Trails and Fairview Estates in Ballito on 5 April. Whether you’re racing or spectating, the whole family can get involved and enjoy a great day out and of course some of the best single track on the North Coast. With the 45km MTB Classic, a 19km MTB trail ride and a family 5km fun ride, as well as early morning 8km and 16km Trail runs on offer – you truly get to choose your own adventure!
Holla Trails, which celebrated a decade of success last year, has been involved in seven Sugar Rush Classics at Sugar Rush Park. This year, the Holla Trails Classic race, part of the Quattro ROAG Series , will start and end at the beautiful dam on the 480-hectare Fairview Estates located just past Sugar Rush Park.
“A large attraction of the Holla Trails Classic is that competitors get to ride adventurous trails and unique routes they don’t get to ride at Holla Trails, all in a scenic forest, dam and farmland setting,” says Nic Jordan, the founder of Holla Trails. “The popularity of mountain biking and trail running continues to grow and there really is something for everyone here at Holla Trails, whether you’re a hardcore racing snake or prefer to take it easy. People keep flocking back for races like this as it provides a great sporting experience that can be different every time.”
Once the energetic part is over, competitors can relax and join the spectators to enjoy artisanal food, entertainment, live music and activities under the trees next to the dam in the beautiful setting of Fairview Estates, a wholesome, nature-based estate offering smallholdings of between 2 and 20 hectares.
The Holla Trails Classic expects to have a field of up to 700 and will fill up quickly.
