The West Coast Athletic Club in partnership with the Friends of Blaauwberg Conservation Area and The City of Cape Town are organising the Battle Up Blaauwberg Hill Trail Challenge event on Sunday 4th September 2016. Date & Time: Sunday 4th September 2016: 14km – 7.30am 8km – 7.45am Prize Giving – 9.30am All finishers to receive a hand crafted coaster Location: Races start and finish at the bottom of Blaauwberg Hill in the Blaauwberg Conservation Area accessed via Mornigstar (see map and directions below) THIS IS A BRING YOUR OWN WATER EVENT – THERE WILL BE A REFILL POINT ON TOP OF THE HILL Race Distances: There will be short and long routes over two hills and through the BCA. The route is a mixture of jeep track, sand and hiking trail with some single file and climbing areas – ideal as an entry level run into trail running.
