#TheUltimateKarooExperience is a unique 2-day run that kicks off with purebred Arabian horses galloping past participants as an opening ceremony! Day 1 offers a Night Run into the Karoo sunset followed by a delicious dinner that speaks Karoo hospitality! Day 2 awakes runners to farm noises of chickens, turkeys and horses around the tented village. Day 2 comprise of two distances: 24km and 12km. The routes consist of sheep trails, mountaintops and spectacular Karoo scenery. Upon finishing the trail run, each participant receives a locally made “windpomp” as finishers medal.
Family and friends are welcome to join the weekend in the Karoo as there are loads of activities for them to enjoy like: the opening ceremony, horse riding, swimming, live entertainment and a tractor sunset cruise!
