SUMMARY:The Old Mutual Two Oceans Trail Run 2016
DESCRIPTION:The Old Mutual Two Oceans Trail Run is open to beginners and experienced trail runners\n\n\nThe Old Mutual Two Oceans Trail Runs take runners through through the forests above UCT and offer inspiring vistas over the peninsula on Good Friday morning. \nBoth the Short and the Long runs start at the UCT grounds and take runners along the lower slopes of Devil’s Peak and nearby forests. Open to beginners and experienced trail runners\, these  challenging routes boast varied terrain with steep ascents and technical descents. \nPlease note that the minimum age for the 12km is 14 years of age and the minimum age for the 22km is 16 years of age. \nBoth routes are incredibly popular and entries sell out within minutes. \nEntry Fees (non refundable)\nSubstitution entry will be allowed between 11 January 2016 and 23 February 2016. \n12 km (does not include t-shirt – available for purchase at the OMTOM Expo)\n\n\n\nRunners who own a timing chip\nR350 (R260 entry fee PLUS compulsory R90 SANParks levy)\n\n\nRunners who do not own a timing chip\nR470 (R260 entry fee PLUS compulsory R90 SANParks levy PLUS R120 RaceTec Chip)\n\n\n\n  \n22 km (does not include a t-shirt – available for purchase at the OMTOM Expo)\n\n\n\nRunners who own a timing chip\nR490 (R400 entry fee plus compulsory R90 SANParks levy)\n\n\nRunners who do not own a timing chip\nR610 (R400 entry fee PLUS compulsory R90 SANParks levy PLUS R120 RaceTec Chip\n\n\n\nThere is a total entry limit of 1 000 runners to protect the fragile ecological area that athletes will run through. \nThe run starts at 07:00. \nNo entries are taken on race day.
