The Tsitsikamma Ultra Trail Run is a 60 km, linear trail, beginning under “The Big Tree” near Storms River and ending at Covie near Natures Valley. The trail traverses the Tsitsikamma Mountains crossing many streams and valleys . With wonderful support crew at the two aid stations and a chilled friendly vibe at the finish this is what trail running is all about . You and the mountains . With a great meal and drinks supplied at the finish by the Covie locals around a bon fire to share your stories of the day . This is back to basics trail running at its best .Entries for the Ultra will close on Monday 15 August 2022.

In conjunction with the MTO Trails Ultra we will run a circular 23 +/- km loop from Covie. The route will include The Covie Trails, The Tsitsikamma Hiking Trail as well as MTO Plantations. Entries for the Lite will be online only and will close 18 August 2022 . Your entry will include a world class boerie roll, a Coke and a bottle of Tsitsikamma Water all supplied by and in support of the Covie Community.

The Ultra Route will be NOT BE marked a GPS track will be made available and sent to athletes. It will be compulsory for all athletes to down load the route either on their phones or gps devices . The shorter 23km route will be marked and include the last 10km of the Ultra Runners. All runners need to be self sufficient for both runs.

This year we have decided to include a 10km and 5km fun run for those who want to be part of the whole event but havent quite got fit enough for the Ultra or the Lite.
